SO FAR SO GOOD

Installation is okay. I used my older router to link with this door bell, which is only available in 2.4 GHz. This router placed in the garage, so it is close enough to guarantee the wifi network with this doorbell and other cameras. Doorbell basically works well. Notification from the mobile phone received with a bit delay, say around 3 seconds. But if I want to talk through the mobile phone to the person pressed the bell, it will be another at least 5 seconds. So if you want to have the conversation with the people pressing the bell, he must be patient enough to stand and wait! However, for the record of people show up in front of your front step and get the notification of people walking by your entrance door, it is good. As I don't want to pay the monthly fee , it fits my need and bill :)

Great doorbell

My experience shopping doorbell showed me, that the reviews are sometimes not reliable.
I tried Geeny, Night owl and Ring doorbells, and I was disappointed. EZVIZ was the last one I tried, and I was a bit sceptical. Today is the third day since I installed it, and I finally found a doorbell that's working fine. What I like about it is, that the picture quality is great, night vision also, has a microSD slot as well 3h free cloud storage, comes with tree colors faceplates to match your wall or door, has 2.4 and 5ghz compatibility. The software is great too, and has a PC compatibility, so you can use not only your phone, but your PC as well, also I can watch my security cameras there too, even if they are different brand. I like the 180 degree vertical angle of view too. So far works great, except a glitch with my tablet app.

Door bell

Set up to existing transformer and worked after trying without resistor. Found without resistor worked. Very good tech service after a year later changing IP services. Neighbour bought a more expensive Google compatible unit that in my opinion doesn't have the options this fair priced unit offers.

Fine video doorbell

I already have an EZVIZ camera so I hoped it would work on the same app which it did. Setup was simple. I hoped that my ancient mechanical doorbell would still chime. It did. I was a little unsure of the wiring. I phoned EZVIZ help and quickly talked to a specialist. Frank was quickly able to understand my question and provided an answer. The video doorbell has been active now for 3 weeks. I had not realized how good it would be as a security camera. I purchased a 128 GB SD card for internal storage. I am not sure if I need it with the 3 hrs free cloud storage EZVIZ provides. I shared access with my wife. Now when the doorbell button is pressed, it connects to both our phones, one an Apple, the other an Android. The lag is only a second or so. Overall I am very satisfied.

Easy to install and connect! Have existing EZVIZ indoor cameras, was able to install the Video Doorbell without any problems

Easy to fix and install software or Android and iOS. Good o have free 3 hours backup. Good resolution but night vision not good

This doorbell was quite easy to install. I hardwired it so I wouldn't have to mess around with changing the batteries all the time. I was originally looking at a Ring doorbell camera but got this one and I don't regret it because this thing is great!

Cant see faces

Can see people up and down sidewalk but as they near the door and away from the sun their faces are too dark to see who it is. Better at night when my sensor light goes on!
