This gazebo is everything we wanted and more. All of the parts fit together very well and it looks great on our back patio. My only criticism is the time it took to peel the plastic protective layer off of the roof sections of aluminum. Why not use thin cardboard between the sections? Orher than that the construction went very well. The manual was right on target.

I would give this gazebo a perfect 10 except for one big issue I have: after getting it up, the next day my hands broke out in blisters and fingers swollen - seems that I am allergic to the plastic covering of the roofing metal pieces. There is lots of plastic to be removed by hand. If you are allergic to latex get someone else to remove the covering!!!!!!!!!!!! We were 4 seniors who put this up: one in his 60s, 2 in our 70s and on in his 80s. Took us 3 hot, sunny afternoons and lots of water breaks. I did some sub-assemblies in the garage out of the sun but the strong essence of the cedar started making me woozy. With garage door fully open letting in warm but fresh air all was soon fine. We had one issue with following the directions: We had the outside roof triangle assembly upside down. Realized this when we came to attach the metal roof pieces. Fortunately, taking the piece off and reattaching it was minor. Later on the third day of assembly we had a BBQ for the 4 assemblers and wives. Looks great in our backyard on a 10 x 10 wooden deck/platform about 7 feet from the house. Plan to purchase a few cedar planks and attach to one end to serve as a windbreak and privacy screen. It would be about shoulder height down to knee level. Maybe a metal decorative panel(s) on a second side. Maybe a lattice on the third side to have plants growing up. Fourth side open to enter and exit. A few minor aches and pains suffered by the senior 4; however, it didn't stop the others from playing golf the next day or two later.

Easy to assemble just follow the instructions and watch the intsalltion tips video. Fun since my friends came over for the roof installation and took less than an hour to complete and right after had bbq.
