This is the most beautiful item in my back yard. I purchased the pergola after being trapped in the house for over a year and many hours spent on Pinterest. I couldn't wait for it to arrive as I had it delivered to the house. On delivery day, I was so excited. It arrived in three boxes and I slowly unloaded and took piece by piece into the back yard to build. I couldn't find anyone to build it as all contractors in TX have been busy since the winter storm, so I decided to build it myself (49 year old self proclaimed handy woman). As long as you follow the directions, it's a breeze. It took two weeks, but I decided to take my time with this one. I also painted and stained it a nice chocolate color. My husband helped me stand up the assemblies, but other than that, it really can be a one person job.
I hung curtains from it am waiting on the sun sail to be delivered. It looks absolutely amazing and is the perfect addition to the garden.
It is sturdy, easy to assemble and looks way more than it cost.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to make their back yard more like a sanctuary like I did.

It’s a Pavilion.

I joke constantly with my friends it’s a Pavilion NOT a gazebo. Way more cool with the open roof and truss design.
It was a build that required help specifically the roof requires some handy people.
The final product gets lots of comments from friends and family and added much needed character to the back yard.
If your worried about quality and cost it’s worth every penny.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought 2 of these on sale 8 months before we needed them or even had a design for our yard redo! We absolutely recommend these to everyone. Just follow the easy to read instructions and you can't go wrong.

To begin we watched the Yardistry Helpful Hints video in full & then rewatched each step as we went. In addition, we also watched a YouTube video "Tips for Yardistry Gazebo Roof Attachment with 2 People".
We organized & labeled all the pieces into zip lock bags based on page number. Then organized all the wooden pieces based on the order needed.
We preassembled as much as possible in our garage before we actually put the entire gazebo together on our patio.
For the frame assembly we attached the beam to two posts on the ground, stood them up and then continued the assembly.
In order to attach the roof, we placed the first roof rafter on a folding table between two posts. We loosely attached the Rafter Beam Brackets to the roof panel. One person on a ladder inside the gazebo , one on the ground we lifted the rafter in place and positioned a pole to support the roof rafter.
We repeated the process and used clamps and loosely secured hex bolts provided to hold the roof rafters together. When the final roof rafter was in place we had the ability to make minor adjustments prior to tightening the bolts and removing the clamps.

My backyard is transformed! I now have a new room to sit in and watch my pool from. I put a sunshade on the top of my pergola and now I can tolerate the nuclear Texas sun and enjoy my backyard.

just love our Pergola, two days putting all the parts together, only four hours the next day to install it on our patio by 4 old guys, not as hard as i thought it would be. LOVE IT

We are extremely happy with the 12 X 14 Meridian Gazebo. The instructions were easy to follow and all the pieces went together as described. We are anxious to get the gutter kit when it is back in stock.

awesome structure

I highly recommend any of the Yardistry products ... I bought the 10 X12 meridian pergola a couple of years ago and installed fiberglass panelling over top to cover my hot tub to enjoy it during the rainy season and during the snow season .... never looked back... a breeze to put together and stands up to the extremes of weather we get here on the west coast .... since then I have also purchased the 6X8 green house ..... awesome . and the care and instructions that went into the design and manufacturing of it were beyond compare ... a bit of a jigsaw puzzle but easy if you follow the detailed instructions... all parts needed were included .... Just call me a happy satisfied customer and I know where I will go for any other structure that I require
