Installed this on an existing paver patio. What I like best about this product is how well everything fits. The holes line up, the screws and fasteners are all the correct length for the pieces. There are a lot of pieces, but the instructions are pretty good. I also want to mention the excellent customer service I received from Yardistry themselves. I had two pieces get blown off the top of my pavilion during construction (my error, no fault in the product) and Yardistry sent out the replacement parts immediately. I had them and was able to continue my project that next weekend. Thank you.
We just replaced our metal pavilion with this wood/metal roof one. We love the look of it. Everyone who has seen it so far also have loved it. We went with the 12x14 size because our old one as 10x12 and it felt cramped with our table and chairs in it. This one gives enough room around the table so people can walk around it with people sitting in the chairs. It does take a while to put it up and you definitely need help. Two of us put the main structure up and had 3 for the roof panels. The only issues were dealing with a few warped boards and then squaring up the roof framing for the metal panels. Instructions were OK. Just take your time and you will be OK!
Put it together pretty easily had a little difficulty with the roof because you need four people for the install of it over the winter we had snow and roof held up without any problems
My husband and I assembled in about a day and a half. Cordless drill made it easy my husband did have a friend help with putting the roof on. It's mounted on our concrete patio it's like having an addition on the house We've had the pavilion now for one year and just put a coat of clear wood sealer on. Absolutely love it! Highly recommend. I really love this it makes our yard so much more enjoyable in all types of weather.. My husband and I put it up over a weekend. The written directions could be unclear so we just went online and the videos were great.
We have had ours for nearly 5 years. Last year we redid the stain using a Cabot product. Found a very close color match with no problem. Still water tight and with the new stain looks like new. It was fairly easy for an experienced DYIer. Need to go slow and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. We set up an assembly area on the basketball court with saw horses and an assembly table. Well worth the price!!
