Seriously if you like I mean LOVE doing home projects this is for you. It seriously adds to the look of your yard and is just a blast to put together. My buddies and I were so proud when it finally all came together. I had some issues with warped boards and Yardistry was all over it sending out new replacements in just a few days. Some tips: I spent A LOT of time trying to get every square on the roof panels perfectly square. Unless you get perfectly flat boards it will NOT square up perfectly. Just get it as square as you possibly can with what you have. That should be good enough to complete the roof. And speaking of roof panels... the instructions will say to build them after you put the posts up. But I did it before hand it it was so much easier to have the roof panels completed before putting up the post in final location. If you have the space to set them to the side it's no big deal to do this first. All in all this is an awesome structure to have in anyhome!
Put it together myself and I learned alot....it was a fun project. After I was quoted $7,000 for a very basic horse shelter, I decided to go with the diy pavillion. It's holding up great and the neighbors like the way it looks.
We are so happy with our purchase. It looks so good in our backyard. We live on a golf course and people will stop by either during their game or walking and ask about it. Always with "it looks beautiful". I built it entirely on my own, we just moved to California and haven't met many people to ask for help. It was so easy to follow the directions and build. Superbly stable and after having some significant rain the last two days not a drop from the roof!!!!
We put this in our back yard and we are already calling it our summer home. It is gorgeous and so well made! My husband had no problems assembling it! We have our meals under it and entertain our friends! Cannot say enough good things about it. If you are considering buying one....do it, you won't be disappointed.
