We've been wanting one of these for a few years and couldn't be more pleased with this pavilion. It is well designed and makes quite the impression in our back yard. Sadly, when I got started, I fully expected to be missing some parts and/or have slots or holes that didn't line up. To my joy, that never happened! Every piece was accounted for and everything lined up as it should. Additionally, the hardware was excellent... Not the junk-metal screws I'm used to receiving in kits. I did have one hiccup... there was one wooden brace that had a knot in an unfortunate location that popped out while screwing the piece in place. I did a "chat" with customer service, who directed me to a parts replacement page. I followed the link, filled out the request and clicked a button. WITHIN 20 MINUTES, I received 4 emails updating me on my request, the last one telling me that my request was granted and my new part would be sent via FedEx to be received within a few days! Very impressed, all around.
Before you put it together and get everything tight, you will believe it is going to be long lasting and sturdy. Well, it is probably going to last forever, I built it with the help of only one friend. I wish the instructions were more detailed, expecially the pictures - broken down on smaller steps. Gets tricky when you get to the roof.
We set up our gazebo on our patio in the backyard. Provides perfect shade and shelter for barbecuing in the rain. Solidly built and aesthetically appealing as well. Hollow posts allowed us to easily run wiring for twinkle lights, providing a great atmosphere at night. Yardistry customer service also amazing. We had a piece crsck about a month after install and they were so helpful and replaced it very quickly.
My husband just finished the pavilion today! We are so excited to get a strong structure up to enjoy in our backyard. We get a lot of wind. So we feel very good about our purchase. My husband did have a couple of bits of advice. We found that if you leave off the plinth till the end you can hammer the anchors in without hitting the post. Also, it would be nice to have a couple of extra screws In each bag. Because a couple of screws did break. But there was some extra ghardware in some of the bags which was helpful. The instructions were very great and complete. And the videos were very helpful! Thanks for such a great product.
Good quality sturdy attractive however, literally took two days to build and had a contractor build it! very poor instruction thee good news is there were you tube videos to watch.
