Lovely local product, high quality

Just finished up installing and I am happy, it is not 100% perfect but 99%. Everythibg matches up together like a dream. I understand it was pre stained and It does smell as such, I wish it was stained too. I find the manual does not mention about should be stained or not immediately after install. I am happy with my pergola. Good stuff guys keep up!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. On page 4 of the manual, under Instructions for Proper Maintenance, it is recommended to apply a clear coat water sealant on an annual basis. This will help to protect, and maintain the wood.-The Yardistry Customer Experience Team-

This is the most beautiful item in my back yard. I purchased the pergola after being trapped in the house for over a year and many hours spent on Pinterest. I couldn't wait for it to arrive as I had it delivered to the house. On delivery day, I was so excited. It arrived in three boxes and I slowly unloaded and took piece by piece into the back yard to build. I couldn't find anyone to build it as all contractors in TX have been busy since the winter storm, so I decided to build it myself (49 year old self proclaimed handy woman). As long as you follow the directions, it's a breeze. It took two weeks, but I decided to take my time with this one. I also painted and stained it a nice chocolate color. My husband helped me stand up the assemblies, but other than that, it really can be a one person job.
I hung curtains from it am waiting on the sun sail to be delivered. It looks absolutely amazing and is the perfect addition to the garden.
It is sturdy, easy to assemble and looks way more than it cost.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to make their back yard more like a sanctuary like I did.

Very Happy with the overall look and assembly. Pretty staright forward to to assemble just takes some time. A few times, I had to go over the instructions to make sure I understood them. Now that its done, just happy its done and looks like good quality.

Our Beloved Outdoor Family Room

We’ve enjoyed our Meridian 12x12 gazebo for nearly three years. The quality and craftsmanship are very impressive, as it is a well designed and sturdy structure. Also, Yardistry customer service is next level fabulous. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
We love it so much, we strung globe lights and tiled the floor to add ambiance to an already beautiful surround. We spend hours relaxing in our outdoor Yardistry family room in front of the fire.
We spent so much time in our gazebo over the holidays, we decorated a lighted wrought iron tree to fill it with holiday warmth. Our gazebo is truly an extension of our home.
Thank you for creating a great product from a professional and friendly company!

Good and Bad Installation

We first reviewed the video online which was such great help for installation. Be sure you have a lot of space to layout all the parts. We had a garage so would not get wet before erecting the gazebo. The instructions were relatively clear. We had major issues on getting the unit squared etc. Customer service were there to assist which was good. Always willing to answer all the questions. Everyone was kind and courteous. I guess if you want to call it the "bad" it was the roof installation. Even with four people, it was hard so recruited two others. The video made it look so simple - NOT!!! We did get all completed and it does look good and sure is a sturdy unit. It looks so nice on the back patio area of our home. Folks in neighborhood have expressed how nice it is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Quality

I just received the pergola few days ago, and upon opening the package I was pretty disappointed with the poor wood finish of most of the pieces. Maybe I expected too much for the so called "pre-stained" lumber, but the wood surface is rough and looks completely untreated, and the colors of some connecting pieces are noticeably lighter/darker than the others. I thought I could just cope with it by sanding and re-staining the whole thing, but then it comes the beam assembly.... the cut of the most connecting pieces are unique that they don't align properly when put together... I tried so hard to mix and match the 20+ pieces to get a better assembly but still ended up with many of beam assemblies in a bad shape. If it is only few pieces, I would think they are just defective parts, but then having so many of them makes me worried if it is a quality issue. Really regret my purchase
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
