Bought this year to add some outdoor living for our summer months. Our backyard gets extremely hot and needed a space for us and dogs to hang out! I could not get my hands on one…everywhere was sold out…and then I found one! I absolutely love love love it. So happy we found it

This gazebo fits perfect into my landscaping being it is made of wood. I
did not want a gazebo made of metal. This gazebo is nice and I only wish
I had ordered the 12x14. I do recommend this gazebo if your looking for
one made out of wood. I did however build and add my own fan to this
gazebo which really makes a difference in this hot weather we are experiencing.

Installation of fan/light

We assembled a 12’ x 14’ pavilion on an octagonal concrete slab in August 2019. We recently hung a ceiling fan /light from the centre rafter tie in order to cool the space when needed. To ensure the structural integrity of the mounting process I distributed the load across three rafter ties using a 1” x 8” plank and through bolts that came with the pavilion and steel angle iron as well as an additional L bracket on the centre vertical post. It all looks like it was designed from the factory and it functions perfectly. We are very pleased with the project as a whole and we spend allot of time outside all year as a result.

Unit assembled and fit together fine, I would suggest using 4-5 people for putting on the roof for safety. Some mechanical ability is helpful. I poured a stamped concrete pad and wired the unit with a fan and an outlet to add lights and a Small LED TV at a later date. One improvement could be to add 1/2” holes on top of post for wiring options.

This is the last gazebo I'll ever have to buy!

This gazebo is so well built that I doubt I will ever have to replace it. Family, friends and neighbors compliment Yardistry workmanship, style and materials used in building this wonderful addition to my backyard.

All of the wood is very smooth and the staying on it is very even and well done as well as all of the joints. However a lot of the mitering cuts are poorly done which fortunately are pretty much never visible other than the corners. Some of the instructions are slightly unclear and I feel that they should specify some of the orientations better oh, such as the fact that the feet need to be mounted in a certain orientation relative to the joining on the post. It is pictured, however it is not obvious. The boards are also often very warped oh, so I highly recommend using clamps wow screwing things together. You can get by making this with three people. With two people doing most of it it took 23 hours
