Awesome Clarity and Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this product lives up to in-depth reviews I read from Mr. Majestic and others regarding ease of setup and quality of picture. Only problem, and it's not related to the product, is I use it via a firestick with YouTube TV and sometimes the "feed" is not all that crisp. Sporting events like football are not always streamed in a high enough definition to produce a clear picture. Which channel is covering the game seems to be a big element in that equation. It is a bit difficult to set up on a 120 inch screen - very minor adjustments and patience is needed. I suggest not setting it up with a stand that sits on a plush-piled, carpeted floor. LG needs to offer a reasonably priced "stand" to go along with this product with varying height adjustments on the stand for different screen widths. Or, suggest stand heights to the buyer in the setup instructions based upon the width of the screen to be used. I bought and returned a few stands before finding the right height I needed. All in all, my friends love the picture quality and would buy one if they were willing to spend what I did to set up a high end theater room. Hope the price on these comes down a bit in the future.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this with a vividstorm screen and it is the perfect setup. My son can play games with the light on and then we can turn it off for movie times. I do wish the blacks were deeper but I think everyone wished that. Also, it was really easy to setup and I love the remote!!
Been using my unit for a couple weeks. In other reviews, people talked of fan noise. I only faintly hear it very faintly before sound starts. Some things that would have been helpful before I purchased it would have been some specs as to minimum heights above the projector to the bottom of the screen. I'm missing a couple inches of picture at the bottom of my screen which is as high as I can mount it. Overall, I'm very happy
Pros: ease of use

Pre-ordered on Amazon before they removed the listing. It arrived today
As you might expect, it's incredibly sensitive to any waves at all so your screen needs to be fixed or top dollar tabbed tension.
The throw from the top of the projector to the screen is 7" - 7 1/4”.
The colors really pop, even in daylight.
The issue.... the projector doesn’t do 4K at 60hz. It only does 30hz. So it’s great if you want to watch a Blu-ray, dvd, tv, or maybe their built in apps.
Let’s say you wanted to run an Xbox one S/X or hook up your computer? Well you can certainly run your computer and entertain yourself by watching your mouse drag all over the screen and the Xbox will literally just yell at you and tell you no.
I could have bought a nicer screen but the 30hz B.S. is where I draw the line. This isn’t 2012, we’ve got 4K figured out these days. They need to do better.
Also, the speaker kind of suck but a big improvement over years past. No base. Most people will hook up a surround anyways though.
Pros: ease of use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the device connected to the HDMI Input Port also supports ULTRA HD Deep Color your picture may be clearer. However, if the device doesn’t support it, it may not work properly. In that case, change the Projector’s ULTRA HD Deep Color setting to [Off]. Supported Display Resolution — On: Supports 4K@60 Hz (4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0) — Off: Supports 4K@60 Hz (4:2:0). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could write a review but the product isn’t yet available. When is the launch date? In what markets will it be available? What is the RSP? From my opinion a “coming soon” page with no confirmed date and with “reviews” button makes little sense though. If you wanted to get my email for future contact, perhaps a “click here and we will keep you informed” would make more sense?

Can’t wait to get a new UST projector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t wait to update my current LG HF85JA to this new 4K UST projector. I did a lot of research before buying my current projector and it was the most affordable option with all features I need. No complaint for my current one but would love to have 4K projector in the basement and move my current one to our bedroom.
I believe once the price releases later this year it will be the most affordable for its kind.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No YoutubeTV...for $6k, are you kidding me
on November 26, 2019

Product seems to be of good quality, but not supporting YoutubeTV is a joke. If I spend $6,000 for a product, I don't expect to have to go out and buy a $30 chromecast just so I can watch TV. Typical LG tvs support YoutubeTV so the engineers need to figure this out ASAP and push through the necessary software update. Otherwise, I will be returning this product.
I called LG support and they blamed YoutubeTV (Google). I called YoutubeTV and they blamed LG...everyone passes the buck, so typical of people these days
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Performance
