This projector produces amazing images right out of the box. Yes, it does require some effort to get it aligned properly to the screen, but it's an extremely high resolution, digital laser projector with an incredibly short throw, so that's to be expected. Other comments I've seen regarding focus issues at the edges of larger screens is not due to the projector, it simply requires that the screen be completely flat, also to be expected of a high performance laser like this one. The speakers are a bit weak, but I don't know anyone buying a high-end projector like this who isn't going to pair it with a comparable audio system ... all in all an absolutely amazing projector - buy it, you won't be sorry!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used this projector a few times. And it's very easy to adjust to the screen or wall when you are moving it around from place to place. The only PROBLEM I've encountered, is if you decide to use it on a movie screen outside on a windy day. Forget it. Due to the fact the placement of the projector is at the bottom of the screen, the image will move around on the screen making everytimes stretch out and look distorted. So you have to find a screen that doesn't move due to normal wind in your outside yard or place your screen against a wall outside. If not you will differently not enjoy your movie viewing experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the HU85LA CineBeam for a few weeks now and I'm over-the-moon about it. There's a see-to-believe aspect to this that defies description. It is stunning. The set up is easy with the cable connections so much easier to perform than I've previously experienced with ceiling-mounted projectors. And because they tuck-in behind the device, they're out of sight. The CineBeam easily makes 120-inch viewing the new standard. Hats off LG - Life's Good and Life's Great. Stunning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this with a vividstorm screen and it is the perfect setup. My son can play games with the light on and then we can turn it off for movie times. I do wish the blacks were deeper but I think everyone wished that. Also, it was really easy to setup and I love the remote!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this product lives up to in-depth reviews I read from Mr. Majestic and others regarding ease of setup and quality of picture. Only problem, and it's not related to the product, is I use it via a firestick with YouTube TV and sometimes the "feed" is not all that crisp. Sporting events like football are not always streamed in a high enough definition to produce a clear picture. Which channel is covering the game seems to be a big element in that equation. It is a bit difficult to set up on a 120 inch screen - very minor adjustments and patience is needed. I suggest not setting it up with a stand that sits on a plush-piled, carpeted floor. LG needs to offer a reasonably priced "stand" to go along with this product with varying height adjustments on the stand for different screen widths. Or, suggest stand heights to the buyer in the setup instructions based upon the width of the screen to be used. I bought and returned a few stands before finding the right height I needed. All in all, my friends love the picture quality and would buy one if they were willing to spend what I did to set up a high end theater room. Hope the price on these comes down a bit in the future.
