Feels like I'm in the year 3000

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited when I got this in the mail! I have been looking to downsize my hair tool collection, so this seemed like a perfect fit.
Compared to other products I've tried, this one is pretty fantastic! I love the sleek modern design, and the way you turn it on and on and adjust heat settings seemed super futuristic. It charged quickly, heated up quickly and was easy to use.
As someone with fine hair, I was really excited to see that the lowest heat setting on this was 280 degrees, which is super helpful for my delicate hair! At first I was worried that the barrel wouldn't be long enough to curl my hair (I have about waist-length hair) but I was pleasantly surprised that it did the job just fine!
Obviously one of the top benefits is its cordless design! I kept noticing as I curled my hair that it was so much easier to do it without having my hands and arms get tangled up in cords.
I would definitely buy this product for myself, and would recommend it to any family or friends!

Love that it's rechargeable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this multi-styler so much for my daughters hair. She has a 3b hair texture and this styled straightens her hair like a dream. She is someone who doesn't necessarily like to stay in the same place all day so the fact that this is cordless/rechargeable is PERFECT. Although it comes with a cable, there is no adapter to charge your styler app you will need to have one on hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome multipurpose styler! My favorite thing about it is that it has no cords! What could be better than walking around your house and doing your hair than just standing in the same place for 20 to 30 minutes. I also love that it can both curl and straighten! It was my first time curling my hair with a straightener but i did not have troubles at all! My curles turned out flawless. I also love that it has the emergency shut off so that you dont panic when you leave the house thinking its still on.

Omg magic wand of easy hair curling

I absolutely love that it is wireless and can now finally curl or straighten my hair. I have an old house and my bedroom has one outlet in it and this cordless multi styler is my savior! I charged it over night and got up for work to curl my hair and it was effortlessly easy to use and best of all no cords!!!! I used this right at my vanity. It heats up very fast to have curled my hair in about 10 min if that. I live the look and design of the conair unbound styler as well! Made very beautiful curls on my shoulder ength hair. I talked about the unbound styler all day to work and already have a few coworkers looking to purchase it. The one thing that I wish and it's not a big deal is that it came with a plug to put the charging cord in. I had to use a spare one I luckily had. Other than that this is the greatest thing ever. Hope to see other cordless products as well.

Light weight but quick battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how light weight this is and the fact that it does both straightening and curling. Its perfect for traveling and touch ups. That being said its battery life is only about 25 minutes and with my long thick hair that cuts it pretty close to being enough time to straighten all of my hair at once. The buttons to turn it on and off and change the head being inside is a bit awkward as well.
I do love it for touch ups. I love that the charger is a universal usb. The locking mechanism is great too.

Let down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea behind this product is phenomenal. But that's honestly where it ends.
The Conair unbound cordless hair styler promises to straighten, wave, and curl your hair, no cords required. The styler is supposed to warm I'm in 60seconds. Heat setting go as high as 450F ... supposedly. My first issue with this styler is that it does NOT heat up to 450. I hair mostly straight, wavy in some places, frizzy hair. I usually use the lowest heat setting of a straightener to tame the frizz and get a sleek straight look and medium heat to achieve curls. I tried every possible setting of this Conair styler and it did nothing to my hair. At the "450" setting, I was able to lightly touch the styler plates without getting burned. Second issue is that the plates are small in my opinion. I only have shoulder length hair and they were too small for my liking. Even if the styler did heat up to proper temps, there's no way someone with long hair could finish styling their hair before the battery died (which happened exactly 23 minutes after i powered it on after fully charging it).
For reference, I'm attaching a picture of my hair after I ran the styler through it on the highest possible heat setting multiple times. Literally nothing happened..
The styler itself does look very sleek, but it still needs some major tweaks before it'll reach it's full potential.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
