Good for casual curly, not straightening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was excited to get this product because I thought I could use it for virtually any style I wanted. What I found out was that was not the case. The straightening aspect you have to do multiple swipes before it even straightens and this is coming from someone with mostly straight hair. So that feature I would not recommend. Now the outer part that heats up for curling actually makes a nice little natural wave. I've used it multiple times for that and enjoy that feature. Overall I think it's a good idea but it needs some kinks worked out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial thoughts, gosh this is a beautiful styling tool! The color, the craftsmanship, all a winner for presentation.
Use of the straighten function i was not impressed, i used the tool on 3 separate heating levels and did not achieve the completely straightened look i was expecting. Also, the slick coating on the tool glides on the hair, which made it more difficult to get a good amount of even heat, and required multiple passes.
The curl function yielded the best results.
Final thoughts for this multistyle tool, personally i would use it for big, volume curls, not necessarily for the straightening capabilities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of a cordless hair styler. I have owned many Conair items and I was so pumped to try out the Conair Unbound Cordless Multi-Styler. It is so beautiful from the packaging to the actual items inside. When you open the box you get a storage bag and the styler itself. It looks really well made and durable. The problem I did run into was that it did not get hot enough and the plate was not very smooth so it would tug on my hair. The buttons were easy to understand and use to turn it on/off and adjust the temperature. I think they could easily improve this to make an awesome product that would compete with high end products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty Good Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the packaging and color combination is beautiful. It feels elevated, stylish and expensive without spending all the $$$. It works great as a straightener but I struggled to get the soft curls. I'm not that experienced in curling with a product like that so I probably didn't do it right. The cordless feature has to be my favorite. It's easy to grab and go but I fear in a rush you might forget the charger. It doesn't come with an adaptor for the wall, only the USB part. Luckily I had one at home. Make sure you keep it charged otherwise the heat lowers and you will not get good results. The display screen is nice and discrete which I like too. Overall, I would use this as a straightener and it works great for that. Made my hair look shiny and healthy.

It was definitely not something I can use frequently on my big ol' ball of thick and curly hair, but it worked amazingly on my nieces hair! I was really impressed with how hot it got, and it's ability to create different styles all with one tool!

Cordless Game Changer With Limits

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I downsized my home to a studio last year I had to give up most of my styling tools because I simply had no room for them.
The unbound cordless replaces at least 3 of my old styling tools, is lighter than expected, and easy to store because I dont need to keep it near an AC outlet. It is so slim and ergonomic, it goes everywhere, and I love that purple and rose gold finish.
But, when it comes to brass tacs, you are getting the price point you pay for. This won't cut it for thick or really long hair, and will serve those with basic daily styling needs such as flyaway touch ups or basic waves best.
It is great for my needs but definitely not a heavy duty tool- the heating can be slow due to the battery operation and it doesn't seem to hold the same temperatures as stand along plug in irons.
Bottom line, great for an overnight bag, or keeping in your workroom locker, but not for heavy duty styling.
My main go to for styling touch ups, a quick shine and flyaway taming, or loose waves.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing and innovative futuristic hair tool!

Throughout my years as a teen and adult I have tried SO many different tools to just individually curl or straighten it. Not only is this tool CORDLESS but the body is stylish and sleek. I can curl, wave, straighten or smooth with just this one product! It has full coverage rounded titanium plates that allow it to be such a versatile tool. You can not only adjust the temperature with the touch of a button but it features led display as far as temperature settings go. I can LOCK the tool and store it away in the included heat proof bag. So easy and so fun. I look forward to using this more. Thank you!!!
