This thing works very well. I have destroyed other similar trimmers, but I have the feeling that this one will outlast them all. The only negative (but I'm happy to live with it) is that it's very loud and sounds like construction machinery. If it's doing the job, though, I won't mind!

Works better than older one. The multi angled clipper cuts very well. Comes with lithium battery but alkaline will work. Not a rechargeable battery. The shape of cutting head assists in getting in areas.

This is the third Conair-battery-operated ear/nose trimmer we have purchased. This This This trimmer cuts my husband's hairy ears very well but the switch on and off mechanism has been a problem after several months of use on both of the previous purchases. We have tried two other brands and they simply didn't cut well at all. Thus, we have come back to the good cutting Conair. Just wish they would improve the on/off switch. Would have rated a 5 star except for this on two time repeating issue.

I have bought a bunch of nose trimmers over the years. Most share a design of a short cylinder with slots at the business end of it (Panasonic) or a comb-like cutter (Phillips, Norelco). In my opinion, this Conair trimmer outperforms the other designs. I have used it several times and am impressed with the results. It is easy to use with the cutting blades easily and effectively fits into the curvatures of my nostrils, trimming hairs in just a couple of passes. The same goes for those pesky ear hairs!
