This is a handy tool to take care of unwanted facial, nose, ear hair. My only issue was that the instructions were a bit difficult to understand. Turning it on was the problem. Once we figured it out all went smoothly. More attention needs to be made on how the user is going to handle the product. If a developer is writing the instructions they already know how it works. You need to take a rookie and see how the instructions play out.
This is my second purchase of same item. I broke the first after dropping several times on a tile floor. It works better than any other nose hair trimmer I’ve tried...and I’ve tried 5 or 6 different models. It cuts close but doesn’t break skin or pinch while cutting. Also the sideburn/shaver adapter also works as well as any I’ve tried before. A top notch product.
I have a lot of ear and nose hair so it was difficult to get it all removed with existing trimmers, which have a cylindrical head with slots at the top. The ConairMan has a cylindrical head that has a surrounding ridge or flange below the top that extends out and cuts hairs at the top, bottom, and outer edge of the ridge. It is far more effective than the old type and gets all the hairs very rapidly and effectively. A great invention!
I purchased this trimmer recently and have been very happy with my purchase. I have had radiation to my nose for cancer and my nasal passage is tender and blood vessels are very superficial. No problem with this trimmer. It works great and is very comfortable and thus far has caused no bleeding to my very sensative nasal passages. Thanks
The only comment I have is a mild criticism of the directions. I could find absolutely no word on how to turn the trimmer on; I managed to get it turned on only by trying various procedures, which were complicated by the fact that the battery I was using was dead. There is NO indication in the instructions or on the product itself on how to turn it on. Adding the note "run" in the product next to the dash would at least give some clue. Aside from this very small problem, I like the product. The design of the cutting head seems to me to be better than the style of the precious products I have used. The others seemed to me to be more susceptible to jamming while using, as the cutting edge wore down with use and was not sharp enough to cleanly cut hair, and end up with a hair caught between the blade and housing, with the result that I would have the product hanging from my nose or ear, while I tried to release it. Would I have to walk into a hospital with the product painfully hanging from my nose?
I purchased after being disappointed with another company's purchase and fell in love. It does the job better than any other trimmer I used in the past, I would definitely recommend this product.
I used a different brand trimmer for 10 years or more...It was usable...It stopped working about a month ago so I went to the reviews for a new one...I have been using this Conair for about a month now and it is night and day better than the old one...much more efficient...This one is quality and I highly recommend it!
I bought this trimmer about a month ago to replace a Panasonic trimmer that I could not find a new blade for. It works great but I find it too loud! When I get done I have ringing in my ears.
