Nice Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice, modern washing machine. It took some getting used to, but I think we've mastered the operation. It's also pretty quiet, which is appreciated because it's located in a small utility room just outside our main living space. My only complaint is the HUGE door on both my washer and dryer(seems as though they were huge on all the washer/dryer combos we checked out). Why so big? Clothes are pliable and would fit through a much smaller opening. We can no longer keep anything in front of this washer because the door opens all the way to the opposite wall, and we can't even keep a laundry basket in front of it because the big door doesn't clear the top of the basket. Most folks probably don't have their appliances in such a small space, but it may be something to consider in future designs. Thank you for your interest in our satisfaction.

Entry level front loader, no deluxe features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 3-15-2023 to replace GE which broke after a year and a half, due to poor Chinese workmanship and materials - I have pictures! The Amana is comparable in size but the controls are a thin plastic strip with small numbers and diagrams. BEST FEATURE is a true 15 minute small load cycle. That really works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Lg was 6 years old and was leaking water...That part was discontinued ...My insurance replaced it with this brand...Same features...I have no complaints... Satisfied customer.

Great Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace another (different brand) washer that needed a main board. This washer is quieter and has better features. The documentation allows me to better select different cycles (good explanation of the cycles/functions)

Really bad chemical smell. Can't use bleach onachi

This machine has a chemical smell that won't go away. We cannott use bleach in this machine as the chemical smell gets so intense it burns you lungs breathing in the house. And they will not even try to find out why this is happening
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is an HVAC technician, she’s worked on many brands of equipment. Her absolute favorite are Goodman and AMANA! We cannot buy an appliance unless it is one of them. She wasn’t happy we couldn’t find a stove top made by Amana. Had to buy another brand. But overall, very satisfied with the brand and product.
