[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the Amana washer and dryer since late November. After an initial learning curve of the push button tech, I now really like the new machines. The tubs are larger than my previous Maytag Neptunes and all the laundry gets done!
Would have given 5 stars but wish the washer and dryer had a light inside.

So, I went to the store looking for a replacement that I was hoping would be so faithful. I have no doubt my new Amana will serve me just as well. Already, it is proving to be more versatile, with more attention paid to water temperature, settings and spin cycles. And my clothes seem perfectly clean when I put them away later. Thank you, Amana, from a loyal customer.

Worst washer ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within 6 weeks of purchasing this washer, we had BIG problems. It wouldn't work at all. We went through the process of the warranty and ended up with no washer at all in our home for over 2 weeks. It was ridiculous. Finally had it fixed, only to break again a month later. Now it won't spin at all and I have to deal with support all over again. I'd rather throw this on the curb and start over with a better machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problems? Trying to figure it out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes this washer spins lackadaisical. When I try to take laundry out, it is dripping all over the floor. I have to put back in for a second, sometimes a third spin at which time, eventually it whirls its head off, FINALLY doing the job. I cannot pinpoint when or what the cause is. Afraid if I call for service, it will be on one of its "whirling its head off" days, and I will not have accomplished anything.
