Not a fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stackable Amana set when I bought my house at the end of October. The set is an attractive set, but, so far, I'm not a fan at all. The only good thing I can say about this washer is that it has a large drum in it that I can wash my bedspread in.
This washer, along with the dryer, is very squeaky (almost shrieking at times). They're not quiet machines at all. It shakes really hard even though its level on the floor and may only have a medium to small size load. Have had several times when the machine just powers off in the middle of a cycle. Sometimes because my stomach (with a shirt over it) brushes against the power button when I go to open the dryer. And, sometimes just because it seems to want to power down.
I would definitely spend a little more money next time and get something better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago for a rental home, and so far, no complaints from the tenants. Unfortunately, it did not quite fit in the space and the entry door hits the washer door. This may have been an error by the home builder.
