the 3 different charging options represent 3 different situational states: (1) normal life, (2) loss of power grid, and (3) cowering in a dark cave ... I'm joking but there's actually some truth to this ... you can instantly switch from USB charging to solar charging to crank charging depending on the current state of civilization ... flood light is bright ... spot light is bright ... emergency lights are a great add-on ... and love that it's also a power-bank for other gadgets ... rock solid high quality construction ... and the design is very striking ... I absolutely 200% recommend this ... proven by the fact that I own 2 of them!!!
Ordered flashlight after Hurricane Irma. Wanted something that would give off a lot of light and would not have to worry about having batteries on hand. This product does both and then some. Very well made.
I do a lot of off road motorcycle camping so weight and function are important to me. This light does it all and it does it well. Buy it you wont be disappointed, as with all Goal Zero products this is a winner.
I have had a few similar products from other companies. The Torch 250 by far is better quality and includes 3 ways to charge: solar, via USB, and hand crank. Light brightness of flashlight and floodlight is very robust. Excellent value.

I bought my 250 over 2 years ago as an emergency light. all the lights work and never lets me down. I used the spot light on high until the last blue light and that was about 5 hours of burn time. I'm using the 250 panel for a recharge and the specs are right about taking 23-46 hours for a full recharge. I live in northern California and we have sun every day that can be cool to hot. when the lights go out my 250 goes on. just have patience for recharging.

Used this flashlight last 5 years plus. It's never not worked or give me enough light. Charge is not holding as long as it used to but after all these years it still works for me just fine. Getting ready to replace it with the very same product. Thanks for building something that works.
