Charging your phone

its a fantastic piece for all kind of situtations you may be confronted with: flash light flood light red light and the part i like the most: you can charge your usb gear on the go with the usb outlet. charging the torch in the sun is no problme, even if its cloudy it takes charge. only backdraw i see is its only available in black. i like!

Wouldn't call it rugged

The first light I received as a gift. The spot light stopped working the first day. The replacement device only charges from a solar panel, my Yeti 150 or 1250 or the house electric. The solar panel on the back no longer charges the device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

General purpose/emergency light

Good as an emergency light source. Nice that it can be charged a variety of ways. Overall it is pretty sturdy but my hook for hanging it broke almost right away. I have two, and both now have broken hooks. Because of that, I probably wouldn't recommend it.

I love this flashlight! It is the best for camping because the solar panel is built right in and it will also charge my phone. I love how it hooks on my clothesline while I hang up my clothes up in the dark. I had my Mom get one for her 72 hour emergency kit and she loves it.

I have been buying these for several years now. We live in the country and keep them on the dash of our truck to keep charged. We always have a flashlight. The variety of light is also great. Use it as a lamp while working or a spotlight. It also has an emergency light which is nice. Great gift for those son-in-laws, nephews and other hard to buy for guys. I son-in-law worked nights driving a truck and went through 2 of them. They could be a little more rugged and sturdy, but they are a great product and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a good flashlight that also charges your phone. Now if they can just get the Rock Out Solar Speakers to charge my phone! :)

This is my #1 favorite. The combination of USB port with manual crank charging means I never have to worry about my phone running out of juice when I'm stranded somewhere!
