i just set my Torch 250 on my dashboard facing outward. Because it charges from the sun, there is always power available. As long as I am driving my car, I have an extra USB power source, a flashlight and emergency beacon all in 1. With the power crank I can always muscle up some needed power, but have never had to use it!

I gave one to each of my 3 children for their car and I have one in my car and a closet that doesn't get ambient light very well. It hangs with the wire clip and has multiple lights (direct, flood, and red) for multiple applications. It can charge with USB, has a built in charger, and when all else fails, you can crank the handle for immediate recharge. It can be used to charge other devices as well and you can charge the Torch 250 itself on your dashboard while driving. It is the best all-around flashlight that I have and I am ordering another one after this review! It is a "gotta have" item. Great for Christmas gifts as well. Something that they will really use!

Can't go wrong

Iv used this light over 50 times and u just can't go wrong with this purchase. Not only can u use a flood light at night for camping or a power outage but u also have a flashlight for spot. During the day just set it out in the sun or plug it back into the wall for recharge. Plus there is a charger on it for ur phone. The hand crank is awesome for emergency but I haven't needed to use it yet. I now keep it in my truck for emergencies.
