This has been the ultimate flashlight. I use it all the time. It is extremely bright and I rarely ever have to charge it up. The charge lasts forever. Everyone that sees mine wants one. It is very rugged and well made. I've used it to charge my phone and it did fine without even losing any charge. I have given several of them as gifts and it has been a huge hit. I cant say enough good about it. I love it and highly recommend it over all the lights. It is very powerful and bright.

son & daughter 4 grandchildren (2 specila w/ special needs) can't afford for any of them to be stranded with out communication ability

Grea to have when needed

We really like how this is made, cree LED is the way of the future, with technology advancing all the time, we here have agreed that in about 5 years the same torch 250 with have the same cree LED the battery system we feel will be 70% smaller while doubling the battery capacity, I myself feel we can reach 100 full hours, maybe an improvement where can turn on the area light but on the side have 1 millimeter green LED indicators of adjusting brightness by pressing a button going in 25% increments each LED lighting up per level of brightness

I bought this mainly for a remote Canadian fishing trip that I took last year. It did the trick. It lit up our campsite at night and is a great flashlight, too. We lit the campsite at night and left it in the sun during the day for 4 days straight. Now I use it around the house all the time. It is my go-to light for everything.

I got this in part to support the recovery effort in Nepal. I have been happy with the performance as it replaces several battery operated and crank emergency lights with one device. It is especially nice to have red lighting (not expected) to preserve my night vision when star gazing. Seems like a solid product.
