A friend was without electricity. I went over to help. She had flashlights on but they were a pale yellow color and fading fast. I turned on my torch and the room lit up. We contacted the electric company. They came and restored power. The problem was a bad electric meter on a brand new house.

One of the best gadgets

Amazing combination of essentials. The backup crank and solar charger are unique features that are invaluable in case of emergencies. Other than that the flashlight itself is pretty decent and very well made. The attention to detail was surprising.
Only slight drawback is that it is bulky, but I'd rather have it bulky than with a weaker battery.

I bought the Torch 250 a month ago and liked it so much, I bought two more for Christmas gifts. Both the spotlight and floodlights are very bright. I really like the floodlight feature for lighting up a room and the high/low options for both the spotlight and floodlight. I also like the versatility of three different methods for charging the Torch 250. Finally, the integrated charging cable is really great as I always misplace my cables. Excellent product!!

I am a collector of Flashlights (just ask my wife) I am always buying them at ever home improvement store, etc. I have never owned a better flashlight than the torch 250. It is plenty bright at 250 lumens and has multiple light levels. The solar recharge and crank charge features at to the excellence of this light. I have used it to recharge my i phone and my MP3 player multiple times while kayaking and camping. This is the best product I have ever purchased, bar none!!
