Out of the box problem

Out of the box, it is creating a lot of frost and a loud roaring noise after you open and close the door when you grab or put something in. I researched the problems and it is supposed to happen years later after the war and tear on the freezer. Is this a used one that I was sent??

Freezer will not get cold.

Had nothing but problems

Broke after two days

Circulating fan did not work after two days. Lost all food in top half of freezer as a result. Green light never went our or blinked to indicate a temperature variance. Temperature in top half of freezer was 50 degrees with the bottom portion at -2 degrees.

Very disappointed

I got my freezer on June 4 and in 9 days it gave out and still trying to get someone out to fix it . All my frozen foods went bad so dis satisfied

Worst Appliance Purchase Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this freezer in May worked good until one of the kids left the door open. There was no door alarm sounding as advertised. After finding the door open and closing it, the freezer would not get colder than 30F. Emptied freezer and moved contents to our sons house. Turned off the freezer and allowed it to defrost. Plugged freezer back in and temps seem to return to normal. Reloaded freezer and now won't go below 20F. Based on the recent reviews it looks like Frigidaire put out a batch of bad freezers just when people needed them the most. Now trying to get a hold of someone to fix this.

Cheap Build Quality and Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to add storage space, I am extremely disappointed with the build quality. The sheetmetal is super thin I can bend the walls to pull out the racks and move them, the fan is also super noisy when going through a defrost ice crystals build up on the fan and it sounds like a baseball card in a bicycle wheel. There is also tons of orange peel on the front door paint, I really dont trust this freezer to last. Any redeemable qualities about this freezer were lean manufactured right out of it.
Unfortunately this was the only freezer in stock, if I get 5 years out of the freezer I will consider myself lucky.
