[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I BOUGHT THIS ON APRIL 17TH AND 2 WEEKS IT STOPS FREEZING PROPERLY. I HAVE HAD 2 VISITS WITH A REPAIR GUY AND IT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. WAITING ON A NEW MOTHER BOARD WHICH IS NOT IN STOCK OR HAVE BEEN MADE. I HAVE FOOD THAT HAS RUINED.

Lots of room and plenty of shelves

Very Very Hard to open door. Otherwise Excellent

Opening the door takes two hands, one on the door handle the other on the base, in order to prevent the entire freezer from moving. My wife can't open the door. Other than this issue, the unit is excellent. Cooling and internal lighting is very uniform and excellent. The unit is very quiet, I like the light indicator at the bottom, outside, showing all is good. The quality of the materials is very good. The adjustable shelve spacing is excellent. I bought the unit on-line, If I knew how hard it is to open, I would not have bought. At this price point, there are many options.

The tightness in the door seal indicates that the gasket is sealing properly. This is caused by the vacuum seal on the freezer. If you're opening the freezer, I suggest gently sliding your hand around the gasket and door frame to loosen the seal so that you can open the door.
