TERRIBLE - DO NOT BUY THIS FREEZER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this freezer on 3/20/2020. Within one month the door seal started to come out at the bottom which prevented the door from closing all the way. Luckily we caught this problem before any food defrosted, but it continues to happen and we have to always check to make sure the door is sealing correctly. 4 months later and the unit has stopped cooling correctly. It will only get to 35 degrees. It seems that this both of these are problems are occurring frequently with other buyers. It would seem that this model has a few defects. I will be replacing this with a freezer from a more reliable brand ASAP.

not worth the $$$

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this freezer or 3 months and the fan went out. When we received the freezer we called the service tech back a few minutes after he left because the green light at the bottom was blinking and beeping. It seemed to be fixed but we noticed the fan making a loud noise and then the freezer quit cooling. I looked at the manufacture tag and it was made in March of 2020. We received our Freezer in April! How in the world does a freezer pass inspection when the fan is out! Needless to say a technician came out today and said the fan was out. I called the 800 number and could never get anyone on the phone. The tech is ordering a new fan but wasn't able to tell me how long the delivery would be. I would like Frigidair to send me a check for the amount I paid for this freezer so we can purchase one that will last more than 3 month. DO NOT PURCHASE this FREEZER!

Very Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My freezer was delivered yesterday morning and I couldn't be happier or more impressed. It was delivered and set up within minutes allowing me to get back to work. The sleekness along with the size of freezer was unbelievable compared to previous freezers i've had before. I believe maybe an hour had gone by and I already was able to start transferring items from my previous side by side fridge/ freezer combo and upon doing so I may have filled out 10% of the new freezer while my previous combo freezer was slammed full. I also liked the fact that suction on the door seemed to be very tight and sealed so I wouldn't have to worry about the door not shutting. Lastly being that it is in the garage having the power indicator light very noticeable will be reassuring that the freezer is on without having to manually check it constantly has breakers sometimes trip while working in the garage with power tools.
All in all, I couldn't be happier with the freezer and would highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I love the size, but troubles started two weeks after we had it. Apparently the drain hose comes with two holes in it, in which then made the freezer freeze up and stop cooling. Called Frigidaire and they sent a repairman. The fix was not replace the hose, but wrapping tape around it. Now two weeks later the fan motor has gone out and we are waiting to get it fixed again. I have only had this freezer since May 28. I have never bought a new appliance to have to have it repaired. I was so excited about it, but now I wonder what will happen next. I am retired and this was bought with hard earned money. If I would have known the problems, I would have probably looked at another brand.

very disappointed after 3 days the freezer WOULD NOT shut down had a thermometer in and it was reading 12 below zero I still don't have the part for it and its been 2 weeks now will never buy frigidare again
