I am overall satisfied with the freezer. It would have been nice to know before I bought it that it will not operate plugged into a GFI receptacle. The location I had chosen only has a GFI receptacle

Broke in less than 2 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When purchased, we really looked forward to having it in the house. It has a nice layout internally. Within 2 months, it has stopped working - it freezes the bottom but food at top has already been ruined.
We will see how good their warranty and repair service is.

Pleased With Fridgidaire Upright Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new freezer is working well. I bought the upright freezer to fit in my utility room. The 20 cu./ft. provides lots of space for my batch cooking projects and frozen foods purchases, The door seals tightly. The only issue, and it is a small issue, is I wish the unit had a standard door handle. The recessed hand hold does not provide enough purchase when pulling the door open because the door has such a tight vacuum seal it is difficult to open.

Not a 5 start freezer

This freezer after 4 months has definitely had its issues. It was not freezing for a good three weeks. Then it started working properly. We even had a technician out one morning. He said the door might not have been sealing properly. We are not off to a good start with this freezer after only 4 months. I have also read many bad reviews after we purchased it. Wish I would have read them first. I usually have good luck with Fridgidaire too.

Door Seal Issues Lost Food

We bought the FFFU20F2VWO Upright freezer and had it about 8 months. We have lost 3 freezers full of food because the door will not seal and/or sensor thinks its open. Sometimes the beep will warn us and other times not so much. It has done this 3 times now and its brand new. Not very happy with this product to date.

Nice freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this freezer, but it does have some problems . The door is VERY sticky and you have to really tug it open. Also, when we set it up and turned it on it sounded fine, but as soon as I put stuff in it the fan started making lots of noise. My husband has tried to make sure it’s level but it is still very noisy at times. I’m worried the fan is going to go out…
