Nothing but ice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer almost a month ago now. Had it installed everything seemed great. The freezer started getting ice on the interior. Called Frigidaire, they linked us up with a technician that still hasn’t been out to see the unit over two weeks later. It’s an absolute mess. There’s ice on absolutely everything in the freezer. Ice falls off the ceiling of it when we open the door. I wish I would have purchased a different brand of freezer all together!

NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT

Product BROKE less than 6 months after purchase. Repair was done in accordance to company direction, meaning THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM, yet they continue to sell the item. Wish I would have read other reviews on this site before buying.

Fault prone product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer four months ago and it has already stopped working twice. We've had to throw out a bunch of food because it defrosted and we couldn't do anything with it. Very disappointed. When it works, it's great. Unfortunately it doesn't always work as it should.

Frigidaire... We have a problem.

We purchased our Frigidaire Freezer in December of 2020. In June we had to have it serviced twice because it was not properly keeping our food frozen. We lost over $100 in food before the freezer could be cleared of the ice that built up around the fan by the service company that does Frigidaire warranty repairs. In July we had the same problem and lost at least another $100 in food before the freezer could be serviced. While the freezer does a great job when it's working properly, I am frustrated with having lost so much food and concerned that this problem may continue.

High quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an old upright freezer that was not frost free and held on to it. I was hesitant to buy a new one, particularly frost feee, but this had good ratings and we gave it a try. We are pleasantly surprised. It is high quality, has plenty of space, and is designed well. We’ve had it for about a month and still very happy. The only thing that we had any trouble with was swapping the door to open the other way because the holes on the other side were a little difficult to align.
