Great value and performance for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this upright freezer a little over a month ago and it has performed flawlessly so far. It has done an excellent job of maintaining the temperature without any frost/ice buildup. I had read the reviews prior to buying this particular model and was somewhat concerned since there were several reviewers that shared issues they encountered, but I'm glad to say that this is working great for me. I have bought Frigidaire products in the past and have been very happy with them over the years, so I was banking on my past experience when I pulled the trigger.
I like the layout with the adjustable wire shelving and the bottom basket, and the door storage works great for smaller items. The interior light does it's job well so I can easily see what I have.
One thing that struck me as unusual was that it seemed to be running most of the time: I thought at first that the door gasket may have been compromised since I flipped the hinges so that the door opened from the right side but when I inspected the seal everything was great. I was getting ready to contact Customer Service when I double-checked the operation manual and it states that freezer has an energy efficient variable speed compressor and is designed to run more frequently to save energy. I have to say saving energy / $ seems like a good idea to me, and as I mentioned it is performing great so everything is good on that count.
Swapping the hinges so that the door opened from right to left was easy to do and took me about 10 minutes by myself once I grabbed my tools. The door is light so it's easy to handle, and the instructions for doing the hinge swap are very good and easy to follow. The only speedbump I encountered was one screw head stripping out, but fortunately for me I have a fair selection of hardware and was able to come up with a replacement screw.
For the price, it offers the largest storage capacity and is also rated for the garage, which is where I have mine located. Based on my experience to date I would recommend this freezer to anyone looking for a great value.

Love the size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of this freezer is perfect for us as we bought a large portion of beef consisting of numerous different cuts. The many large shelves in the freezer made it simple to organize the cuts and find what we need for a specific meal. Also, the door magnet is very strong insuring that the door closes properly and seals perfectly.

It is a real plus having a well lit freezer, making locating specific items super easy.
I did not realize that the deep freezing capabilities of this freezer were sooo COLD!!! Amazing!!! You can hear the suctioning after closing the door.
I am very pleased with this freezer!!! It is remarkable!!

Love the upright Freezer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the white Frigidaire 20 cubic foot upright freezer this summer. I love the brand because they are known to last with minimal problems. I love the that it’s an upright! I grew up with the freezers that you had to lift the big top to open it then try not to fall in while reaching down to get a package of veggies or meat. I love the wire shelving on both the door and in the box there is plenty of space. The door is reversible which is cool. I bought the white model because it’s easier than stainless steel to try and keep clean. Yeah- how bout’ that!
