Worked ok for 10 months. For last few weeks would warm intermittently til I turned up the control knob...Now, the control knob just spins, and the temperature is 38 degrees!.....Today= 53 weeks after installation.....Planned obsolescence! 25% of the reviews are *-** only!

First One Delivered Was Not Cooling Enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer two months ago but after 24 hours in operation it only cooled to 25 degrees F. They replaced it but it took another month to received the second one. This one has been in operation for about a month. So far so good.

Light gave up after about a month

I want to love this product but I'm having difficulty. First off, the light we out after about a month of purchase. 2nd, it always develops Frost on the bottom, only on the bottom, which makes it difficult to close the door. 3rd, about 3 months in it gave up on us. One day after we'd been away for 2 days , we came home and the green light was flashing - means temperature dropped, everything inside was already defrosted. I had a freezer full of stuff that was going to spoil if I didn't take it out. We checked outlets, other appliances, everything else was working so it didn't suggest power outage. I called the number on the warranty, none were opened on the weekend or after hours and of course we noticed this Friday evening. I had to take everything out and put it iceboxes. The 2 days later it just started working by its self, so when I called the techs back on Monday they told me that it was probably just "operator's issue" and there was nothing to do because the appliance was working.

Constantly overheats

Within a couple months of owning this freezer it stopped working properly. The only area that would freeze is in the very bottom. The light blinks and the alarm sounds. The repairman came out and fixed it under the warranty. Currently, which is only two months later it stopped working properly again. Same exact problem.The light blinks but no alarm this time. Nov 2021 it will be a year that we owned. It is a horrible product and I would love to get a better freezer.

Complete honest truth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my freezer. But there is an issue. 2nd freezer in 6 month I purchased my first one in November 2020, door was molded poorly from factory. Waited for parts for 6 months, poor thing ran until it burn itself up. Frigidaire only refunded my purchase price, we had eat sale tax and dispose of unit. Purchased same model in April everything was perfect for 10 days. Stopped cooling currently waiting on service repair. DO NOT BUY ANY MODEL manufactured during the pandemic of 2020, there is a problem.

DEFECTIVE

please notice how many one star review this freezer has been getting recently. We are on the second of this model and the Freezer is broken at least half of the time. There are so many hoops The owners of these defective freezers have to jump through to get satisfaction from Frigidaire. Do not do not do not buy this model.
