Malfunction

Supposed to be frost free after only 10 days frost is forming around doors and now inside the unit

Love the fridge

Good price...disappointed in basic features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this freezer due to an older Frigidaire freezer that started having temprature issues. It shows to be slightly larger than the old one, but because of the shelve configuration and baskets, it actually holds less food! It has the same number of shelves (4), but only has one basket, rather than 2 like the older one that is very similar. The other larger problem is that the shelves are flat, with no upturned front edge like the older ones. When I started trying to load the food in the new one from the old one, the food kept falling off the shelves because there is nothing to keep things on the front of the shelves. Unless everything you put in the freezer is in a square box, you will have problems getting much to stay on the shelves! For example, frozen meat, self packaged or vacume packed items and other similar shaped items. No idea what the long term results will be, but my first impression is less than enthusiastic....

Love my new deep freeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tornado fried our 50 year old Gibson deep freeze. I did some study on deep freezes and decided on a Frigdair now I know our new one won’t last as long as our old one did but boy it sure is nice.

Doesn't work properly
