Awesome Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 20 cf freezer for our restaurant , as our 13 cf 20+ year old freezer finally died. Our new Fridgidaire has plenty of door shelving along with being frost free. Thank god the old freezer died.

Not Freezing

After loading up already frozen food in it we noticed everything up top was thawing out. I've checked the temp dial and have been trying to out cook the thaw but I need help.

Interior Light works intermittently

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Interior Light works intermittently and requires I constantly unplug and replug the unit into the outlet. Very poor design and I am extremely disappointed with this freezer.

Regarding your light concerns, try making sure that the light bulb and the appliance plug are tightly screwed and/or pushed into the socket/outlet. If necessary, replace the light bulb, use only a 5-watt or less AC LED light bulb. Be sure to wear gloves when replacing AC LED light bulbs to avoid getting cut. bad door seal on the bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the door seal on the bottom has a gap allowing air to enter creating a frosting problem. the fan frosts up every few days and has to be manually defrosted. a service tech is aware of the problem and will replace the door seal at some time in the future.

Wrong purchase so far.

Had it for a couple of months and noticed ice build up on bottom of my door. After numerous calls I received a inspector type person to come look at it. It has a bad door. So here I wait after throwing away and giving away all food in it waiting for a new door.No one has said anything about it, let it run, unplug it, whatever. It wasn't cheap either.

Too soon to tell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer about 6 months ago and have had 3 service calls on it already. The door doesn't seem to line up properly for the light switch to go off which causes the interior light to 'time out' and then won't come back on until it is unplugged/plugged to reset it. Hopefully they can get this resolved. I had to throw away a fair amount of meat and veggies when the fan failed and the food on the top shelf thawed.
