Quality in manufacturing

We ordered this in November and it was delivered in January. We had it installed, a month ago we had a power outage and a week or so later the freezer stopped working. It caused panic, luckily we had two refrigerators and we able to save our frozen products. Repaired was called, freezer was now working, and it was decided that it was the mother board... that will be replaced today... problem, what happened if we are on vacation for weeks and it happens again...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 20 cubic foot upright is perfect! Extra cubby shelves on the door and a bin in the bottom give lots of options for small items. Reached -10 degrees quickly and has run dependably. I like the green light on the exterior bottom that let's me know at a glance that all is well.

Plenty of usable storage

I had a whirlpool that the design of the cooking vents took up so much usable space because you couldn't block them. Very pleased with my new freezer. My daughter bought the same exact one and is just as pleased as I am

Great Freezer

A symbol of security in an insecure time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the pandemic hit, it was so difficult to find fresh meats and chicken at the market. The times I was able to find food, I bought very little because of limited freezer room in my refrigerator. It was a health risk to venture out food shopping so often. Now, each time I go in the basement, I see this beautiful upright freezer that sits quietly safeguarding our food! PROS: 20.0 cu. is a huge amount of space! 4 spacious wire shelves which I happen to prefer over glass because it’s better for cold air flow. 5 generously sized door buckets! It’s perfect for storing jars or slender items that may not sit right on the wire shelves. Huge basket at the bottom to hold whatever you want from 2 large turkeys to packages of bread (like us). What I also love about the inside is that LED light, it’s so bright and well placed. The moment you open the door, the light shines wide over everything! The freezer is equipped with a power indicator light at the bottom, it quickly lets me know it’s on and operational which I think is brilliant. The door is reversible and easily pulled open from either side. I love this other great feature…it has these adjustable feet! I was able to raise the front a tiny bit higher than the rear to make sure that when anyone opens the freezer, the door would surely swing back closed. CONS: I don’t have any serious criticism of this freezer as of yet, I’ve only had it one month. But if I could change something, I’d like to have just the last shelf that’s above the basket, to be glass rather than wire. I’m not sure what happened to the folks with the negative reviews, I don’t doubt their issues were valid. The freezer I got is fantastic and I do recommend it. When my freezer was delivered, I wiped it down inside and out, then left it plugged in for 24 hours at the recommended setting. The temperature is perfect, the food is frozen solid, ice-cream is excellent too! I think it’s best to read the manual thoroughly prior to using your new freezer. You’ll definitely avoid silly mistakes and costly repairs. Overall, I’m very happy and satisfied with my Frigidaire freezer. Now, I don’t have to worry about constant shopping anymore, or having to over stuff my limited refrigerator. One of the best investments yet.
