Freezer froze up after 3 days. Cannot use it. Waiting for technician.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fan froze up after 3 days. Had to remove a full freezer of meat. Frigidaire technician came a checked it and had to order parts.That was 3 weeks ago and I have not heard from him since.The freezer is now unplugged while we wait. Could you please contact him and let me know when I might be able to get it fixed.

Failed right away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My freezer worked just long enough to get cold and for me to load it full of meat. 2 days later the fan failed and I lost about half a freezer worth of meat. Nearly a month later I am still waiting on the part and the repair company to come out and fix it.

Already Needs Repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it less than 3 months and it stopped freezing. Everything started thawing out. Saved most of it, but lost some food. Repairman had to order parts so it still isn't working. Very disappointing.

Failed after 1 month

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking freezer, decent price and delivery. Unfortunately, the unit stopped cooling after a month. Looks like a problem with the auto defrost. As you can imagine, a fair bit of food was lost.
The service tech defrosted the unit. It ran for a few days and then stopped cooling again. I have no confidence in this unit to continue working properly.
A freezer should just work. This one didn't.
Do not recommend purchase.

Very disappointed, worked two weeks before failing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2-1/2 mounts ago, we used it about two weeks and it started cycling through defrost / freeze cycles. Repairman diagnosis was bad compressor, but he doesn’t work on the compressors.
Awaiting replacement unit from manufacturer, will update if when the new arrives.

Save your money not even worth 1 star

I thought I would replace my 35 year old freezer which still works and never needed repair. I saw this online and ordered it. It was delivered and plugged in -everything seemed fine. I waited 24 hours-loaded my food inside the new freezer-after that the temperature went from 0 to 33 then to 53— I had to put all my frozen food back into my old freezer which thankfully works. Unplugged the new freezer for a few days-decided to try again-loaded my food little at a time—day by day-once again temperature jumped up to 33 -immediately reloaded my old freezer. The freezer stays on 0 without any food in it-once it starts getting filled up it cannot maintain their temperature. Save yourself a headache-they won’t take it back even tho it is less than 2 weeks old. Waiting for a repairman to come and “fix” it-I have no confidence in this freezer.

Perfectly Defective

I ordered this product because the previous one lasted a very long time, over 10 years. This product started making noise the same day it was delivered and we thought it was a normal process. However, the noise became louder each day and then, started defrosting three days before the repair person was to repair the product. We called customer service after a week. A repair person came out weeks later and said, "We had food covering the motor," that is why this product is making noise and defrosted. It's been a week and two days and the product is still making the same noise and food is not covering the motor at the bottom of the freezer. It's not us, it's you [20.0 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer].
