Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezers top two shelves defrosted twice in less than four months after I bought the freezer. Had to throw away those items, not sure if I would buy a Frigidaire again. Service tech ordered a new door, will wait and see if that is the problem

Poor Design

We bought this freezer thinking it was the best and would last us many years. Within the first few weeks it quit working, frozen up and stopped cooling. The store sent out a man to look at it and found it frozen. He thawed the fan and freezer out and it worked again. A month later it froze up again and stopped working. This time a service tech came out and found that the control board had a bad wire harness that was causing relays to turn off and on if you touched the harness. He replaced the control board, harness, fan tower and it worked for exactly 5 weeks and it froze up again. One of the things I noticed that I didn't mention before was when it froze up I would turn the control knob to Off, but the freezer and compressor would continue to run. This last time again, with it turned off, it continues to run. I had to unplug it to thaw the freezer again. I am thinking this unit is poorly designed and I will be replacing it soon as this is unreliable and has thawed my food out twice now. Will never buy another Frigidaire again...

Good but Needs better shelving options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I overall am happy with the freezer. However I find that trying to organize items on the shelves are difficult. Items seem to want to slide out. Some type of front edge or baskets on the shelves would help.
