This freezer makes life easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer has all the features I wanted and then some. I wanted an upright so I could finally find anything at anytime from anywhere. This fridgidaire has lots of shelves and full width door pockets not those tiny ones. The shelves are metal and there’s a big wire basket in the bottom that comes out. No flimsy plastic to break and cost a fortune to replace. It’s big. It’s quiet. It’s garage ready. The door can open in either direction. And it’s huge. I like to batch cook and do fewer trips to the grocery store but buy more when I go. I love the way it’s made life simpler and better. It’s a life changer.

Stopped working in 3 months

Doesn’t get cold enough to even refrigerate things

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to store three lambs we had bought. It never got to freezing, even on the coldest setting. They sent a tech out to fix it, but its a “sealed” system so they can’t work on it amd will send someone else. Meanwhile we lost out meat and have a huge non working box in our garage

Horrible! Stopped working after two months.

Not happy with Frigidaire

I Purchased this freeze in April 2020 it came with a poorly repair scratch on the door but i took it anyway. Ice keeps forming on the inside and after many many calls they came and replace the gasket. It still forms ice ,the repairman told me that there has to be something wrong with the door and should be replaced. The fan motor was hitting something and he fix that. Also the door hinge jams to the point where i have to push hard to shut the door. They replaced the hinge twice and it broke again. I own 4 other Frigidaire products and have no problems with them. For some reason they can't except the fact that there is some wrong with this one. It's been 4 months from the date of purchase , many calls later they said that they will send another repairman but i will have to pay for the service. What happen to the to the one year warranty . They are telling me that i cause the problem because the freezer is in my garage that is attached to my house. The garage is well insulated and the doors are never open unless we take out the car. The freezer door is opened & closed maybe once a day to take out something for dinner. We have two other freezers so it's not that we are in there every five minutes. So please don't tell me that it's because the freezer is in the garage. Many people have their freezer in garages . The out come of this will determine whether or not i will recommend or purchase another Frigidaire product again. Also it is like pulling teeth trying to get them on the phone. This is the first bad review i ever wrote about any product so i hope you understand how i feel about this one.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear of the issues with the freezer door and frost build-up. We have reviewed and see where the technician diagnosed that the frost build-up due to the freezer being over the recommended ambient temperature of 110 degrees Fahrenheit. If the ambient temperature goes higher than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, then the compressor will not operate properly causing issues such as frost build-up. We see that the technician has been scheduled to come and address your concerns with the hinge. If this doesn't resolve your concerns, we're here to help. Great features

I bought the online only had it a couple of weeks and now the door alarm keeps going off. We done everything to reset it and the alarm is still beeping.

The repairman said that the motor is out .NEED A REPLACEMENT ASAP. we had to discard spoiled food twice and I have three group homes that I am responsible for three meals and a snack daily.
