DO NOT BUY

Bought to replace a still working 18 year old Frigidaire freezer for which I never had a service call. But, I'll be lucky if this one lasts another month. Door ajar does not work. I have to make extra trips to make sure the door is closed. Even when the door is closed and hasn't been opened for hours or even days, there is frost build up under the lip of the door which is causing a false open door alarm. No confidence in the freezer. So now I have a faulty freezer that's causing me to worry about losing a freezer full of food. Great, just great. like there isn't enough to worry about . Save yourself the headache and worry and DO NOT BUY THIS FREEZER NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE!!!

Light won’t work

We had to change the direction the door opened. With very little instructions. Once the door was switched, the light won’t come on. There is almost nothing to go on online to fix the problem.

Perfect Size

It's easy to see what you have, and there are plenty of shelves as well as storage in the door. Definitely wanted to buy American made, and this freezer meets our needs and was a good value.

Third time is the charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one delivered was a lemon. While it got cold, it sounded like a diesel truck running in the basement. So that got returned. A month later the second one arrived. It also got cold, but wouldn’t stop beeping and the interior light was very intermittent So a month later the third one arrived. We have had it for about three weeks and this far it has done all the right things. It stays cold, isn’t loud, doesn’t beep and the interior light operates correctly. It is a great large size and has enough shelves to keep things organized. I think I am glad that we didn’t give up.
