Loved it until started to sound

I purchased this freezer in May. And it was working really good until recently when it started to make a sound like a fan.

Poor quality

Freezer died too young

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer lasted about 1 month when it stopped cooling. After a call to Frigidaire and to two authorized repair shops an appointment was made for a technician to look at it 10 days in the future. At that time it was determined that the fan and evaporator were shot (in a brand new freezer) and needed to be replaced. No parts in stock do they had to be ordered and wait another 7 days. The new parts were installed and the freezer appears to be working again. I’m going to wait at least A week before putting anything i the freezer. I’ve lost too much food already.

FAILED - STOPPED COOLING IN 2-MONTHS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 20Cu.Ft. upright Freezer in March 2020 and after 2-months it stopped cooling and all of my food stocked during COVID-19 de-frosted! Had high-temp alarm and it reset after plugging it back again, but stopped cooling afterwards. The main reason for buying this is for ease in access to the stored food as compared to the chest style freezer. Called warranty company and faced delays in scheduling a repair visit from beginning of June and now finally have an appointment on July 7th 2020. Hopefully it will be fixed and works well after this 1-year manufacturer warranty repair!!! Glad that I signed up for extended warranty too! I had a high opinion regarding the Frigidaire brand but now it is definitely making me have second thoughts about the quality of Frigidaire products.

Poorly designed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new system has some flaws in it as I have had it for 3 months now and it has frozen over 3 times. The warranty to replace the item does not kick in until there is at least 3 service calls - I have had 2.

One month old and lost temperature

I bought his about one month ago and we just bought Alaskan fish and 1/8 of a beef cattle and the unit started icing up and the green light started blinking. It is the 4th of July and the freezer temp did not recover so we had to take everything out and put as much as we could in our refrigerator freezers. Fortunately our daughter lives nearby and could fit the rest in her freezer. Need to contact the warranty dept. looks like others have had the same issue.
