Great people to deal with

Nice Freezer; but no way to level it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Freezer about 3-4 weeks ago; and it's working fine. I installed it in our garage. Garages are typically designed so the floor slopes toward the door; so they are not level. I'm disappointed that the appliance had no way of leveling it. Normally the legs on the bottom have screws you can adjust up or down. I designed air conditioning products for Carrier for 40 years; so I have experience in this area. For another $5.00 Frigidaire could have put adjustable legs on the bottom. I had to get out the table saw and create wood shims to get it level; however the new 20 cubic foot freezer is so light that when you open the door it slides off the shims making it unlevel again; so I had to install concrete screws in the floor attached to the mounting feet in order to keep the freezer in one place while opening the door. When the freezer has more food in it the increased weight should help to keep it from moving. The freezer appears to be working fine; but if your floor is not level; you're in for some work.
