It was time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started having a temp alarm on our 22 year old freezer. Most parts obsolete, so it was time for a new one. After a lot of research we decided on this model. It took a while to find one due to the pandemic, but worth the wait. The freezer is quiet and doing it’s job. Most importantly the wife is happy. We live in a rural area so having a freezer is a must.

It could use a built-in thermometer to show the actual temp. We are using a standard temp probe so we're ok.

Seems to be a great freezer but it has a beep alarm that goes off all the time and one day just about everything started thawing. I turned the thermostat down a notch and it came back on and froze everything rock solid. I will call to see if I can get it checked out.

Quality product, Affordable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this freezer a little over a month ago. Easy set up, energy star rated, quiet and good looking unit. I leveled the unit and used the factory temp setting to start up (Within 35 minutes it had reached operating temp: 0 degrees)and then adjusted using a low temp thermometer. The national freezer shortage meant we had to wait for one to be offered and it was worth the wait! Our old freezer was 24 years old (another Frigidaire) and with the cost of food and energy today, we wanted to safeguard our investment.
