Good Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to update an older Frigidaire freezer. The old freezer works fine; I wanted the ability to keep food frozen for two days without power. I especially like the roomy door shelves, and the metal slide-out basket. Competitive brands have narrow shelves in doors. They also have an inferior lower storage area that's made of plastic, doesn't slide out for access.

Great Freezer for the Money!

Not only that, but the service from the delivery drivers was exemplary! They were professional, courteous and helpful. And the fridge fit perfectly in my space and is big enough for all of my needs. Frigidaire is an excellent product. Love it!

Are you feeling lucky?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this unit based on previous experience with a similar model run. We took possession of it on September 18.
Startup was smooth, it got to temp easily and the next day we filled it with the items from our old unit. All seemed normal enough to transfer the magnets and memorabilia from the old one to this one. The we realized after another day that the fan had yet to shut off.
We called the support number which said they were experiencing high call volumes. Enough that it wouldn’t even let you leave a message. It just said we could try back later. Super.
In the meantime, I registered it and filled out the web form on Frigidaire’s support site. Nearly a month later I have yet to hear from them.
I searched Frigidaire’s FAQs, googled, and YouTubed for answers. I am not a service tech nor am I interested in attempting anything that will void the warranty. The fan keeps running.
My wife stayed on top of calling regularly and somehow last week managed to talk to a live human being. They said they would be calling back with more info within 24 hours. Again, that was last week.
So here we are, a couple hour drive from most service techs with a fan on our freezer that will likely have a short lifespan trying to figure out what makes the most sense: emptying it to return to the place of purchase, holding our breath that Frigidaire will contact is for anything other than marketing and reviews, or Rolling the dice and sinking another grand into ordering another freezer in the meantime.
I have had good luck over the years with Frigidaire appliances and this style of their freezer but it seems that perhaps that is all it was.

Wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so quiet I keep checking to make sure it’s running. Love the external light showing it’s on. Lots of storage inside. It’s fantastic. My only concern is there is no door handle on front it’s on side and my hands have arthritis. I can get it open but I’d have like a handle on front. I’m still giving it 5 stars

Up and running, but...

The only issue we have is that the second day it was up and running we checked it prior to stocking it and the LED light would not illuminate. Tried reaching out to ask for assistance and have not been able to talk to anyone.
