Stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this freezer in December and less than 6 months later it stopped working and I lost a bunch of food. A month later and still trying to get it fixed. I wish I could just get my money back

Broke at 4 months old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got a lemon. At 4 months, the warning light started blinking & the alarm started beeping signifying the temperature was too warm. Seems only the bottom shelf is keeping things frozen. Everything else is melted. Guessing it’s a problem with the fan. We’ll know in a month when the repair technician comes out. We live in a rural area and that’s the soonest they could send someone.

First one died after 5 months , waiting over 3 weeks for a repair kit and repair man to fix it. Just waiting on the second on to die now. Should have read about the complaints on line more.

Big Disappointment

We were so excited to receive one of these as a brand new donation to the food program that our ministry runs. Unfortunately after receiving it in March it has been one service call after another. The freezer motor freezes up and then the freezer shuts down. We have to keep watch on it all the time to know if it is on the verge of going out or not. This morning will be the 5th service call since March. A kit has been installed to fix the issue which it did not. On the 4th service call, they installed a new door. Today I came into work and the freezer is frozen up again. This would be a great freezer if it didn't have all these issues.

Poor

lasted for 4 months I bought this freezer as a replacement for an older model. I worked for 4 months and then stopped working. Lost all of my freezer goods including meat and frozen fruit from our garden. Contacted customer service and after phone tree madness finally got a service request for 3 weeks in the future. Service came and said they need to order parts and that this is a known issue with these freezers. 3 months later, still no parts. Very expensive freezer sitting in my basement broken and no place to put up any food from our garden. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the product and the quality of the customer service. It is ridiculous that less than 4 months after buying a brand new freezer it breaks and ruins all my food. Can't get to talk to a real person and still waiting for repair. Do Not Buy!

Terrible!

Food LOSS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our freezer is only a month past a year old and twice it has frozen up and stopped keeping the food frozen. We keep it on the minimum setting. We are beginning to think we may have a defective unit. This time I borrowed a small chest freezer from our son so I could unplug it for 48 hours. I then had to sanitize it, plug it back in with some small items on each shelf and wait another 2 days to make sure it was going to freeze. My husband wants it replaced!

Best freezer ever!

Since we already own an upright Frigidaire Freezer it was a no brainer. It has worked out just fine, every bit as good as the one we already own. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone interested in a 20cuft freezer.
