Noises fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within the first week, the freezer started making noises.The fan that circulates the air on the inside appears to be rubbing somewhere. Not a great way to start. However, Frigidaire responded quickly and is working to resolve the issue. I would love to be able to respond at a later time to say that everything is great and are no longer any problems. We will have to wait and see.

DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER

I order my freezer on Sept 10 2020 and had it delivered Oct 1 2020 On Nov 22 2020 the freezer stopped freezing on the upper half and had a knocking noise coming from inside. Called for service and a service tech came out on Nov 25 2020 and said that the evaporating fan was not working. He had to defrost the area around the fan to verify the fan was not being blocked by ice. The next day the fan started working and the freezer cool down like it should. Two days later the knocking noise started up again and the freezer stopped work correctly. The new fan is to be replaced on Dec 7 2020. I am disappointed that this freezer has failed after just 6 weeks or so!

Not a good start with our new freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer worked very well for about 3 weeks. Then it started warming up... it wasn't keeping the upper part of the freezer below 0... things were thawing out. Frigidaire customer support sent a repair technician over to see if it could be fixed. The technician seemed to recognize the problem... he had seen it before, in other freezers like this, same model. He made some repairs and it is working well again so far, but it has only been a couple of days. We'll see how it does long-term.

Ridiculous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife purchased this freezer in late July. It stopped working (i.e no longer froze our food) by October. After several technicians and parts, and after over a month (fixed December 8th) the freezer works again. Who knows for how long it will last.

very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought freezer brand new 6 weeks ago and the first day i was hearing a loud noise had to get someone to check it the fan was touching the drain hose, noise is back waiting for someone else to come back to check it.

Not very happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it 2 days and needed to call repair man to fix light and alarm system, he spent about an hour trying to repair but could not, he thinks it may be a factory defect so I am waiting for someone to call me to either fix or replace the unit.

Poor quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The interior light failed after one week and new bulbs do not work. Also the freezer even unopened for days fluctuates by 10 degrees up from your setting. I have a wireless thermometer inside and do not even need to open to confirm temperature. Normally I keep it set to 0 degrees F. At least once during the day it will go up to 10 degrees before dropping down to -10 F and then settling at or near 0

Make sure that the freezer is not tightly packed, allowing air to circulate adequately throughout the freezer.
