MOTOR LOUD

I've had this appliance for 3 months and all I hear is a loud, grinding motor sound. Ice crystals forming on items in the freezer. I had a similar Hotpoint for 11 years and never had a problem. I find it ridiculous that I have to get a repair of a fridge only 3 months used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is by far the worse fridge I've ever owned. Bar none. The motor sounds like a plane trying to take off. The lighting is almost non existent with LED's you can't even replace. Why not a bulb? Why tiny little LED's attached to the main board? Even worse, this page actually brags about them! Like they are a good feature. One of the drawers can't pull out because the fridge door is too thick and can't open fully unless you have 180 degree clearance for the door. The black finish scratches so easily, this thing will be silver in a year. I really needed a fridge quick. Shame on me for trusting this brand. I will never buy this brand again.

This is a garage fridge for overflow and drinks. Nice size and looks. Only improvement would be some glass/plastic shelves rather than wire.

We just replaced the refrigerator in the garage with this and cannot be happier with the machine. We have a 20 year similar version we use in basement and are very pleased with GE products
