Buyer beware

I would honestly give this dishwasher zero stars if I could. We have had nothing but issues with this dishwasher since the day we installed it. The door latch breaks every single time we open the door which results in us having to unscrew the entire cover, fix the latch and then screw the cover back on in order to run it. Such an inconvenience especially for a brand new dishwasher. So flimsy and cheaply made.

Cheaply Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of my appliances in this kitchen is Frigidaire. I recently replaced my older Fridgidaire diswasher with a new one. The new one is cheaply made, hard to hookup, and difficult to operate. The water connection required me to visit the store for a new fitting. When running, each cycle take forever to complete and you really never know when it is over because the lights stay on forever. I have used Frigidaire appliances all of my adult life (over 50 years) as my parents did but now I will seriously consider changing brands.

Too soon to review

Frigidaire wants me to submit a review of the new dishwasher I purchase. As of now, the dishwasher when running is quieter than I thought it would (a plus). It replaced a Frigidaire “Gallery” dishwasher that only lasted two years. Even though this dishwasher is not the high end product of Frigidaire I’m hoping it will last longer than two years. It is hard to review a product when you had it for less than 30 days. I would love to submit a review after 2 to 3 years of use. That’s when you can tell if the product is a good product.

Shiny and New!

When we moved into our house there was an old dishwasher there, but it didn't have a place for the spot remover liquid. It also didn't have a cover for the dish detergent. So, I could never use the pods. I didn't realize how squeaky clean glasses and dishes could be. But, now I have that to look forward to everytime I use my new dishwasher!

My Frigidaire

All of my mom's appliances in our home were Frigidaire when I was a kid. When I moved into my current home several years ago, all of the appliances were Frigidaire except the dishwasher. Wouldn't you know it, the off-brand dishwasher went out and had been leaking water underneath. Needless to say, I knew specifically what brand of dishwasher I was going to buy. Now my fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher all match and I couldn't be happier!

It's good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the dishwasher, it looks good and washes well. Although I could redo, I would pick the one with the buttons in the front instead of hidden. Another thing is it doesn't dry the dishes very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher button on the top are troublesome. We need to press multiple times. Sometimes we need recycle and do all over again. The dishwasher is a bit noisy as well.

Cleans well. Mediocre rack design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Self installation was manageable. Cleans well. Racks are very lightweight construction. Top rack is too high for some bottles and stemware. Bottom rack is very “clunky” going out and in. Layout for of bottom rack is not as practical or efficient as our old Kenmore. Is not really quiet.
