Terrible; loud; does not wash or dry properly

Had it for a month, ran at least 30 loads and they've never come out well. Always either filmy or wet. I use premium Finish pods and Finish rinse aid and doesn't work. The tub never drains at the end of a cycle. Also for some reason you need to run the hot water on the sink before starting a load and test to be 120 degrees???? Why on earth would you design it this way? Even the cheaper dishwashers don't require this. It's also really loud...it sounds exactly like a kitchen aid mixer when running.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey Greenlawnracing! I recommend making sure that the house water is coming in at 120 degrees, the “Heat Dry” option is selected, you’re using the correct amount of Rinse Aid, and that no heavy mineral or calcium scale is covering the heater. I hope this helps! Please don’t hesitate to reconnect with us directly should you have any other questions. Kindly, Courtney

Thw water sits in the bottom of the dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cant get the water out of the dishwasher. Which is going to cause mold, creatures, and bacteria! In the drying stage it doesn't get hot enough to dry the dishes.

Hey Tcme, I personally apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced with your dishwasher not drying your dishes. I would recommend using a rinse aid if you are not using one already. I would also check that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to get proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Also, check the incoming water temperature to be sure it is not less than 120°F (49°C) at the sink closest to the dishwasher. Hope this helps!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The absolute worst dishwasher I have ever had!!! Soap door doesn’t open never has. I use the recommended detergent and the cube never breaks open to wash the dishes. Same detergent I have used in past and haven’t had any issues previously. Dishes do not dry. You still have to prop door open after drying cycle to get them. We are buying a new one ASAP!!

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your dishwasher experience, Laurie360. I recommend making sure large dishes are not blocking the spray arms from reaching the soap dispenser to release the detergent and the incoming water is coming in at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit. You may also find that using rinse aid will help with the drying performance of your dishwasher. I hope this helps! Please feel free to contact us at 1-888-203-1389; Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm and Saturday from 9am to 6pm EST should you need additional assistance. -Courtney

Doesn't DRY!
on January 31, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read the reviews before I purchased the DW and saw a few entries about the appliance failing to dry dishes but took a chance and bought it anyway. Although it looks sleek and the settings are easy to set, IT DOES NOT DRY THE DISHES!
Since I'm stuck with it, I've resolved to propping the door open after the cycle has "completed" and letting it air dry, because if I don't, it gets smelly as well as the dishes inside.
I was going to purchase the "suite" (fridge, etc) but will likely go with another brand after this experience.

PatMO, I am sorry to hear of your frustration with your new dishwasher. Most challenges with drying are related to water temperature and/or rinse aid usage. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-125 degrees (at the water heater) for the best cleaning and drying potential. Ensure you run the water in the sink until it is hot (like you do before getting in the shower), before starting the dishwasher (page 13 in your Owner’s Manual). Don’t forget the rinse aid (it really makes a difference)! You can even increase the amount of rinse aid that is dispensed to help with drying (page 10 in your Owner’s Manual has the instructions). Plastics have less thermal mass than metal or glass items and will need to be towel dried. If this hasn’t helped, or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reconnect with us directly for assistance Mon-Fri, 8a-8p or Saturday 9a-6p EST @ 800-944-9044. We are here for you. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth
