There is a consistent smell and it is never dry. Is it deficient/broken or just a poor quality dishwasher?

Some helpful tips that can alleviate most odors, is cleaning your dishwasher by running an empty cycle with the power-plus or heavy cycle and sanitize option.
You can also pour 1 cup of white vinegar directly into the tub and run an empty cycle. A lot of our consumers have found the tips provided very helpful in alleviating most odors.

WORST DISHWASHER AVOID

This dishwasher started off great…well that was short lived. The element is literally burning the bottom of the dishwasher I don’t even use it anymore because I’m afraid to catch my house on fire. And on top of that the element has already burned and melted 2 sprayer arms. I’m absolutely upset at the quality of this dishwasher and this dishwasher is barley a year old !!!

PURCHASED DW - 11/06/2021 - DELIVERED 12-10-21 - UNBOXED FOR INSTALL ON OR ABOUT 07/13. LICENSED ELECRICIAN WIRED 07/15/2022, HOMEOWNER UNABLE TO UNLOCK DOOR AFTER FOLLOWING FRIGIDAIRE OPERATION INSTRUCTION MANUAL PAGE 5 AND 6, IN ADDITION TO TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE. THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY IS CURRENT, KINDLY REQUEST SERVICE REP. NOTE - I HAVE LATER READ ON VARIOUS BLOGS THIS FRIGIDAIRE MODEL IS APPEARS TO HAVE RECURRING DOOR UNLOCK ISSUES.
