Cost Benefit Analysis = High Value Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BLUF: Buy this brand due to less likelihood of faults. TL;DR: Within the midrange pricepoint, this dishwasher is recommended. Why: Two diff repair companies recommended it based on likelihood of needing repair based on design (less issues) and availability of parts (high, even with COVID issues). Design of buttons not on front precludes inadvertent depression (leaning guests/children). There is a small delay between shutting door and start, but it is a design feature. The operation noise is higher than expected, but does not impact viewing television in same room. Running water to ensure hot prior to start makes a difference (as recommended in manual) but likely users won't do this all the time.

Smells terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get a new dishwasher, but this dishwasher has a plastic interior which I wasn't aware of when I bought it. My last one had a stainless steel interior. This one smells bad every time you open the door. I dread opening the door and using it. It is always wet inside also even when using the jet dry, which now you have to use with all the new dishwashers. I didn't with my last one. . I have used it for 8 weeks now and a few weeks ago had a service tech come already. Waiting on new parts, I tried to upgrade it but they said I couldn't. very disappointed.

Regarding the dishwasher having an odor, we recommend cleaning the unit every 3 months by running an empty cycle with the PowerPlus or Heavy Cycle and Sanitize Option or by pouring 1 cup of white vinegar directly into the tub and running an empty cycle without adding detergent. Good Dishwasher

The only problem is that it is all plastic and the front has gotten scratched and has two dents in the door. I think that the quality has gone down in this washer. I paid full price for this dishwasher but received low quality product. Before you purchase make sure you are getting your moneys worth.

Very Disappointed

After 5 months of use the door would not shut and nw it won’t power up. I expected a much better product.

The dishwasher melted through the plastic tub, allowing water ingress into two rooms and a hallway. Could have caused a fire or electrocution. I have been told that because it is out of warranty and not a model in the class action lawsuit I am simply out of luck. Wow.

Would not recommend (three flashing lights of death)

Many of the negative reviews are correct (cheap parts, poor lower rack design, dishes are always wet, etc.). We purchased the dishwasher and matching refrigerator at the same time, and have experienced problems with both. Similar to many other posts, our dishwasher lasted just a few months after the one year warranty expired. The ‘three flashing lights of death’ will not reset, so we will now have to purchase a new machine.
