The quality isn't as good as I'd like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher works well, but small things are bothering me. On the touch pad, sometimes the buttons don't activate when I press them, and then I have to hit a button multiple times to get it to work. I called a tech about it and when he came out, he just said the buttons were sensitive and that wasn't something that could be fixed. Also, the bottom rack doesn't roll well in and out of the dishwasher. The wheels often catch and I have to partially lift the rack to push it in all the way. The dishes do come out clean, but since the small issues are going to be a consistent, un-fixable problem, I'm rating this 3 stars.

Yes! Your tech was correct. Your appliance’s control panel is a capacitive touch panel, similar to your smartphone or tablet. The control panel uses the conductive touch of a human finger. Input to resistive touch screens works through pressure resulting in two conductive layers being pressed together, so if your fingers are wet or sticky this may make the controls a bit difficult.
I’m bummed out to hear about your dishwasher rack. As you continue to use your unit, this issue should resolve itself. Just in case, follow these simple steps that may help the matter.
1. Remove the dishwasher rack.
2. Scrub the track inside the dishwasher with a small, gentle brush to remove any build-up. Wipe the tracks with a mild detergent and a soft rag.
3. Take the dishwasher rack to the sink. Scrub the wheels with a small brush, removing any grime and debris. Turn the wheels by hand to remove any stuck fragments. Rinse the wheels with hot water in the sink.
4. Spray a non-toxic lubricant into the moving parts of the wheels, turning the wheels as you work in the oil. Some people choose a cooking spray for the lubricant.
5. Replace the dishwasher rack, checking to make sure the wheels are rolling freely and smoothly.

Decent dishwasher

A good basic machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this last month. We couldn't afford an expensive machine and this was on sale. We've never owned a fridgidaire, and the reviews I read were mixed. One complaint that many peels seemed to have was they said it was loud, noisy. I took it out of the box and is much lighter than our old one which concerned me. But I got it all hooked up and ran the first load. It was GREAT! What a nice surprise!. We've been using it for about a month now and I'm very satisfied. It's an inexpensive model so I don't know how it will do in the long run, but we're very pleased so far. It's quiet and does its job very well. Even when we use the one hour cycle, everything comes out squeeky clean.
I did have a little problem on the installation. I needed to remove the door to connect the electrical wires. I tried to follow the instructions in the manual, but my machine had a different configuration of screws than was described in the manual. So it took me awhile to figure out how to get the door off. It turned out to be quite easy once I figured out which screws to take out.

Didn't realized that it didn't have an option to either air dry or heat dry, truly disappointing
Have to keep the door cracked or it will stay wet and will cause a damp smell

Upon review of the model you provided, it appears that the dishwasher has the option for Air Dry. If Air Dry mode is not selected, the heater will be used during the drying phase of the wash cycle. We also recommend using rinse aid to help with the drying performance.
