Cheaply made

I have had this dishwasher for about a month and the top rack keeps coming off the track on one side. It appears to be cheaply made. I'll be calling for a repair to see if it can be fixed

Hi, Jpo56! I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your rack. There are end caps on each track of the upper rack that flips up to allow the rack to be removed. It sounds like the end cap may be flipped up on the side that keeps falling off and simply needs to be flipped back down. Not so happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased all the other kitchen appliances to match. My wife is very disappointed with the dishwasher and refrigerator. Both are very noisy. She doesn't like the racks in the dishwasher. They are not very user friendly, no adjustments like the older dishwasher we owned (same brand). Had to return the first dishwasher because it constantly ran run into the wash tub. New unit works but doesn't dry dishes very well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do recommend the continued use of a rinse aid. Also, please confirm that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to assure proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Cleans well but leaves dishes soaking wet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this isn't the best dishwasher I've ever had but it's not the worst. It does get dishes clean, but it leaves the inside of the dishwasher and all the dishes wet when the cycle is over because it only does air dry and not heat dry. I have tried rinse aid, I've tried using the sanitize cycle (so everything is hotter when the air dry starts) - nothing has worked. Doing dishes takes longer because I usually have to open the dishwasher at the end of the cycle, rattle things around to knock off as much water as I can, and then let everything sit for hours to dry with the dishwasher open before doing the next load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not too impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Frigidaire dishwasher I’ve owned. The first we bought for the house we remodeled and I absolutely loved it!! We sold our house and bought a new one and this model in question came with our new house. It doesn’t compare even though it looks almost identical. The main issue is all the water left on the dishes, I have to towel dry them before putting them away, very frustrating. It also doesn’t clean as well. The only positive, it’s very quite.

I recommend making sure that the house water is coming in at 120 degrees, the “Heat Dry” option is selected, you’re using the correct amount of Rinse Aid, and that no heavy mineral or calcium scale is covering the heater.
