We have only used it once, but it is so lightweight that you have to be careful that you do not go over the 50 pounds when using the larger suitcase. It rolls easily on hard surfaces; carpet is a bit more challenging. I choose the blue, navy color which makes it very easy to spot in the luggage carousel.
